Financial Investments

Our financial investment portfolio has exposure to various industries and asset classes, and comprise companies in various stages of the business life cycle; both start-up, growth and maturity.

We divide our investments into three different categories;

Direct Investments

The direct investment portfolio consists of both private and public companies in which Canica has a direct ownership stake. Our commitments, perspectives and ownership shares are diversified and comprise both majority stakes and smaller minority positions.

Indirect Investments

Indirect investments are completed through joint-ventures and in partnerships with other investors and stakeholders.

Funds

The fund investments consist of a wide range of funds with various fund strategies. The liquid part of our fund’s portfolio has a global uncorrelated return profile, while the illiquid fund portfolio ranges from seed, early stage, and growth to pre-IPO investments.


Real Estate

Canica Eiendom AS is a full-service real estate company operating in Norway. The company manages all real estate owned by the Canica Group and is focused on active ownership through continuous development and optimization of the property portfolio.

The Canica Group owns approximately 140,000 square meters of rental space, divided between warehouses, offices, retail, hotel, and parking space. The market value of the property portfolio exceeds NOK 7 billion, with a majority of the portfolio located in Oslo.

Canica also invests in real estate development through various vehicles and partners.
